Tina is a designer and technologist who spent several years designing textiles and graphics for high end fashion companies and later moved on to design and develop a popular home furnishings line, Laidback. Tina is currently working on a startup called Todayships that allows teens to build social capital and explore different creative careers. She also works with St. Barnabas hospitals' Teen Health Center as their technology consultant, working on ways to use tech to change outcomes in the Bronx. She founded Exposure Camp in 2013, a non-profit that provides programming to teach teens how to become "tech makers,"covering everything from coding to content creation and graphic design. Tina is the Co-founder of the Bronx Tech meetup and is a sought after speaker in the areas of diversity in design and the bridge where technology meets health. Tina blogs on issues related to health, family and design and works for several companies as a social media strategist and designer. Tina lives in the Bronx with a toddler and a teen and is working to eek out time to train for her second marathon. She runs for her life.
