My name is Tina Shoulders, the founder of the pop culture inspired home furnishings and lifestyle company Laidback. I freelance as a graphic and surface designer in the fashion industry and consult on social media strategies and do community management for emerging companies. I teach a Social Media “Creating A Buzz for you Business” and two Merchandising seminars at the Fashion Institute of Technology and have spoken on fashion/ social media panels selected at SXSW in 2010 and 2011.

My passion currently lies in evangelizing social media and technology to middle school and high school children in underexposed communities by introducing day long exposure camps.

I am currently working on a startup that bridges social with education to create a space for youth today to collaborate, build, connect and share their interests while building a portfolio for their future.

I run to maintain my health, encourage healthy living in the Bronx and to raise money for the Leukemia and Lyphoma Society and blog about it.

When I am not working or living online I am kicking it with my son cheering him on at one of his numerous sporting events or kicking it with my youth as the Direcor of the Youth Ministry at Greater Centenniel AME Zion.
